Award & Recognition Opportunities
The State 4-H Program offers many opportunities for young people to achieve. Part of the 4-H Philosophy is to provide youth with activities that will encourage and allow them to be recognized. The five different types of recognition in the 4-H Recognition Model are:
- Participation in Educational Experiences
- Progress Toward Self-Set Goals
- Achieving Standards of Excellence
- Excelling in Peer Competition
- Excelling in Cooperation within a Group
