Shooting Sports and Sport Fishing Camp

July 22-26, 2013

This camp is held at Camp Cloverleaf and is designed to teach life skills through fun, noncompetitive activities in shooting sports, sportfishing, and natural resources. Campers will be given an introduction to archery, shotgun, muzzle loading, air rifles, fishing, and hunting. Add in the traditional 4-H Camping Activities–swimming, canoeing, recreational games, campfires, nature center activities, and trail hiking and you have an exciting week filled with outdoor learning experiences.

Ages

Campers must be between the age of 8 and 18 years old (must be specified age by 9/1/2012).

Discipline Specific ages for campers are as follows:

Air rifle and archery: 8 years old

Shotgun, small bore, and hunting: 10 years old

Muzzle Loading: 12 years old
