We have been closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation closely. While we want to disrupt our programs as little as possible, our priority is the health and safety of our 4-H members, families, campers and volunteers. With that in mind, and in line with the direction of the University of Florida, effective immediately through July 31st, 2020, all in-person gatherings of individuals in the name of Florida 4-H are postponed. This includes all Florida 4-H Camping programs and specialty camps.
Please visit our Facebook page for the latest updates and virtual camp programs.
This week is full of fun and educational activities such as canoeing, swimming, recreational games, campfires, fishing, a dance and more. It’s guaranteed to provide youth with an exciting Outdoor Adventure!
Youth will have an opportunity to learn teambuilding skills and will participate in activities that will promote healthy lifestyle choices as well as physical activity. A daily snack from the canteen and a summer camp t-shirt are included in the camp fees, along with three nutritious meals per day prepared on site by our Certified Food Safety Staff. All cabins are air conditioned.
Campers must be between the ages of 8-13. Eligibility is based on age by September 1, 2019.
