Hundreds of Florida 4-H teens invaded Gainesville for five days of fun, socializing, education and awards.  More than 350 teens from 56 of Florida’s 67 counties were at the 2008 Florida 4-H Congress themed, “It’s a Green Thing!”

The 2008 Florida 4-H Congress, an annual state event, took place at the University of Florida from July 21 through July 25.  The event called Congress is a culmination of events for 4-H youth throughout Florida who have competed at their county and district level and moved on to the state competitions for awards, recognition, scholarships and prizes. The award winners are listed below:

• National 4-H Congress Delegates Announced
• 2009 National 4-H Conference Delegates Announced
• Florida 4-H Congress Donors and Sponsors
