4-H/Tropicana Public Speaking
A parent's guide
Your child is faced with many options in today's fast-paced society. Through Florida4-H/Tropicana Public Speaking Contest, youth are guided in developing valuable communication skills. In a safe environment, your child is taught how to research, write, present and even dress for a public speech. As a parent, we've developed some resources to help you guide your child in this process.
Please keep in mind each county's contest operates differently. Check with your teacher or your county's 4-H agent, to learn about your county's contest guidelines.
