4-HU Competitive Events
Every year all state qualifying competitors in Demonstrations and Illustrated Talks, as well as Public Speaking, attend 4-H University in hopes of taking home the trophy in a diverse group of categories ranging from food science to small animals and pets. 2019 EVENT INFORMATION
When: Monday, July 29th, 2019
Where: John Wayne Reitz Union, 686 Museum Rd, Gainesville, FL 32611
Competitive Events begin at 2:00 PM
Check-in information for competitive events is 12:00PM
If you are a parent and would like to attend and are not a registered participant of 4-H University, please contact your County Extension Office to get put on our approved guest list. Limited parking is available in the Reitz Union Parking Garage. There is a free spot to park.
Spaces in the rooms, for non-competitors, are first come, first serve and entrances/exits from the room will only be permitted in between presentations. Competitors will remain in the room throughout all the presentations. Please be respectful of the presentations and do not talk during them. Please remember that only judges are allowed to ask the youth questions about their demonstrations or speeches.
