Leadership Project
In the 4-H Leadership project, you will learn:
- how to assume leadership roles by teaching and helping others;
- how to engage in civic governance and community decision-making;
- how to effectively communicate with others; and
- skills such as decision-making, getting along with others, planning and organizing, and responsibility.

LEADERSHIP - Level 1 (Ages 8-10)
- My Workbook teaches 4-Hers about relationship building, communication, planning and organizing, and the group process. Available through National 4-H Council.
LEADERSHIP - Level 2 (Ages 11-13)
- My Journal teaches 4-Hers about relationship building, communication, planning and organizing, and the group process. These activities will help to build and enhance leadership skills. Available through National 4-H Council.
LEADERSHIP - Level 3 (Ages 14-18)
- My Portfolio teaches 4-Hers about relationship building, communication, planning and organizing, and the group process. These activities will help to build and enhance leadership skills. Available through National 4-H Council.
Leader/Helper Guide
- Mentor Guide 1 will help you support youth (K-5) set goals and complete activities, as well as providing resources for the member's to use in completing the series. Available through National 4-H Council.
- Mentor Guide 2 will help you support youth (6-12) set goals and complete activities, as well as providing resources for the member's to use in completing the series. Available through National 4-H Council.
- Unlock Your Leadership is a curriculum for 11-18 year olds that can be used to supplement an exploration of developing leadership potential in teens. Experiential learning activities provide plenty of action to keep group leaders busy. Topics included in this Leader Notebook of group activities include: What is Leadership?, Understanding Self, Communication, Getting Along with Others, Learning to Learn, Making Decisions, Managing, and Working with Groups. 4H LDL 20
