Money Management Project
In the 4-H Money Management projects, you will learn:
- how to process information to make the best economical choices for a given situation;
- how to use skills or improved practices related to financial literacy and money management;
- how to effectively communicate with others;
- to develop and maintain positive relationships with others;
- to demonstrate knowledge/skills or improved practices for personal safety; and
- skills such as decision-making, getting along with others, planning and organizing, and responsibility.
Project Materials - FINANCIAL CHAMPIONS
(For Youth Ages 8-18)
This curriculum will help you discover the
difference between needs and wants, money
personalities and values, and the importance
of goal-setting, communication, ways to use and save money, the benefits and drawbacks
of credit, advertising influences, consumer
decision making and how to select financial
services.

FINANCIAL CHAMPIONS - Level 1 (Ages 8-10)
- There is no project guide for this level.
FINANCIAL CHAMPIONS - Level 2 (Ages 11-13)
- Money FUNdamentals teaches 4-Hers about developing a money personality profile and style, needs and wants, dealing with money decisions, setting financial goals and developing a money plan. Available through National 4-H Council.
FINANCIAL CHAMPIONS - Level 3 (Ages 14-18)
- Money Moves teaches 4-Hers how to predict outcomes and analyze their finances as well as calculate interest, determine the cost of credit, manage a checking account, select financial services, make marketplace decisions & the 11 ways of handling money. Available through National 4-H Council.
Leader/Helper Guide
This Helper's Guide will help you support youth in his or her efforts to set goals and complete activities, as well as providing resources for the member's to use in completing the series. Available through National 4-H Council.
