Collegiate 4-H at the University of Florida
What is Collegiate 4-H?
Collegiate 4-H is an organization on the collegiate level for students to join together to serve their community, have the opportunity to lead their peers, discuss youth development, rural and urban life, agricultural, political, and other important questions, as well as bridging the gap between youth and adults (Extension staff and volunteer leaders). This gives students the opportunity to mentor 4-H members.
The purpose of this not-for profit organization shall be to provide the students of the University of Florida that are interested in 4-H with a sense of identity on campus and opportunities to enrich their lives through group projects, youth-adult partnerships, community service, and recreation, while also developing leadership skills.
Membership
The membership of this organization is open to all registered UF students. This includes full- and part-time students completing degrees in undergraduate, graduate, doctorial, or professional programs. Prior membership in the 4-H organization is not required.
